- They are for the tonneau - the flaps on the tonneau should have "lift the dot" fastners that fit to these to make the tonneau cover tight when on and down. Phil Bates

- If there were four of them, I would say they are for snapping down the front edge (actually, the "flaps" in the middle) of a full tonneau cover, when folded down behind the seats for driving. Douglas
