They are for the tonneau - the flaps on the tonneau should have "lift the dot" fastners that fit to these to make the tonneau cover tight when on and down. Phil Bates

If there were four of them, I would say they are for snapping down the front edge (actually, the "flaps" in the middle) of a full tonneau cover, when folded down behind the seats for driving. Douglas
