You may have a dilemma... The TR4 frame is a tad wider than that of the TR3. I don't think a TR3 body will fit on a TR4 frame so what you probably have is a PO that converted to the r&p steering. Now

James , If the rack and pinion steering is original , it cannot be a TR3B , but it could be a TR4 , which has a slightly wider track , 3 or 4 inches compared to the sidescreen cars . Or could it be a

I checked the frame cross member tag and there is a raised "Z" and stamped numbers. After close inspection with my TR3A and comparison to the MOSS catalog, my frame is a TR3. I still am curious about
