All true. I'll just note that the 1973 and 1974 U.S. Spitfire 1500s continued to use the Mk.IV-style badges, although the badges did say "Spitfire 1500." It was not until the 1975 model year that the

The hood on my 76 still has the mkIV badges on it. The body is a 76. I know that the only difference is the badges.
