- Just to the left of the battery, directly below the the steering column there is a hole in the shelf (very small) what is it for must have been covered in dirt before I painted it. Anyone know? Cliff

- On my '73 the only hole directly below the steering column is where the threaded end of the throttle pedal stop comes through a nut welded to the firewall. This hole is just above a small horizontal

- Cliff I dont know what the hole is for, but TRF sells a rubber thing to seal John - 1976 TR6
