Mark, If you are going to buy a mig welder get one that uses gas as the shielding element. You can get one that uses the shielded wire but they don't do as good of a job. I bought a century (good siz

Avoid the cheapies! They are what they are. I bought a Hobart Mig. The wire feed is excellent. It runs on 120VAC. It's great. One hint. Buy a big tank for the gas. It's amazing how fast the small one
