I used Krylon metalic silver followed by Krylon clear the next day. My bugeye wheels still look great after 10 years. I have recently removed them and put on aluminum slots. $5 worth of spray paint o

The silver paint is available from Eastwood in PA, Color is Detail Silver #1285 For the Wire Wheels and steel. They are expensive about $ 7. per can, So if you can get the Krylon # you can save Bucks
