Someone just got their tax check..... You should get the lifter fixed on the Arturo and sell it.... Mike I can get Dayton Chrome wires and I can find Minilite replicas, both for about a grand a set.

Stay with wires and go for a 5" or 5.5" rim. Alloy wheels are just as easily damaged as wires (kerbs etc) and need more cleaning if they are going to look decent rather than pitted and nasty though t

Larry: My current sale catalog from VB shows a set of bolt-on alloys for for 4. The splined were a little more, but I think well below the $1,000 mark. Conversion to bolt-on might be very cost effect

Orrrrr...you could get the knock off Minilites...saw some on a racer bugeye in Ft. Lauderdale last year and they were definitely cool! Then you could swap back and forth with the wires easily! RH

What do British Wire Wheel say? Perhaps they don't do the 5" (I have 5.5" w/w on my car). At least 4.5" is up on the standard rim. Daniel1312 << Daniel suggested 5" wheels, but all I can find are 4.5

Chrome plating spokes tends to weaken them. That's one reason Dayton has been using stainless for a long time. Stainless can be polished to a very high luster and they will never rust. Just a slightl
