I have a Mk 2 Sprite with a 1275 and a vertical flow radiator. Can someone tell me the path of the coolant through the system and which hoses take the coolant to and from the heater core?? I'm pretty

An entire second radiator seems like overkill for the 1275. I've used a KIA aluminum core radiator mounted with the top tilted toward the firewall to give enough clearance for the bonnet. The hose c

Not sure just which way the coolant flows but a Geo Metro radiator Fits, holds less, and cools better then the stock downflow. And with a later left exit t/stat cover, the stock hoses work. -- Frank

"Downflow" is referring to the orientation of the tubes in the radiator. On the early radiators the tubes that carry the water run vertical in two offset rows. The later rad has the cooling tubes run

I beg to differ with you, Mike. "Downflow" refers to the FLOW. The ORIENTATION would be VERTICAL, not down. Yes, in order to flow down, the tubes ARE vertical. David Lieb only crossflow, horizontall
