Most likely reason is one of the connectors to the brake light is corroded, probably the ground wire connector. Sand it, file it, clean it best you can and try it. Bud -- -- Click here for Free Video

Ken, Power to your brake lights comes from the brake switch via a green with purple stripe wire. If the right hand light works, you are getting power to the rear of the car. Your most likely problem
