I seem to recall from another list thread that the stops are toward the rear of the door near the bottom. Having said that, I don't think they are necessary to have. My windows roll down about 1/2" b

I am not certian if the windo stop in question is the same thing I have in mind. When I repaired my 71 GT I got two little rubber things, one for each front door window glass. these are sort of shape

Are these the felt pieces that you are talking about? If so, I think that they are near the middle of the glass mounted to the bottom of the door. There is a small bracket in there that attaches via
