- Unroll the trim and let it sit in the sun for a couple of weeks. When you install the trim, make sure the 2 ends butt together (ie don't leave any gap). The bridge piece will hide a little shrinkage

- Soapy water does the trick and is pretty easily removed when you are done. That's what I used and would do so next time I have to replace the trim. The hint about sitting the plastic in the hot sun
