- I agree. Duct tape will also work. I have done my W/Ws this away for years. Just don't use any type of wheel cleaner that will dissolve the glue on the tape. Mike R

- One guy I know doesn't bother with the rubber bands. He just wraps the wheels with black electrical tape. It works for him.
