I agree that Dayton Wheel is the source for a wire wheel. But realize that if you are thinking of knock wheels, you will have to change to splined hubs. Then you can join the world of wire wheel owne

DJ, The Dayton wheel uses an adapter plate that bolts to the current hubs, so you don't have to change your hubs. Also, they use pin drive, so you don't have to worry about the splines. Also the use

Not quite. It stripped the hub splines, not pulled the spokes. That was on the Miles prototype, which was subsequently fitted with Silverstone 8-spokes mags. Another apparent example has surfaced and

Dayton also makes splined wire wheels. I know of a couple of Cobras with them. BTW, my Cobra has had splined wire wheels since day one. They still work fine and after more than 35 years the splines
