Hi Hal, Absolutely. Somewhere (I'll look it up) there is a table for the current capacity of the different wire gauges, but the dash lighting totals about 20 watts (5 x 4 watts?) so the total current

Also check the bulbs and you may find that they have turned black with age. It is amazing what new bulbs will do for the brightness of the gauges. Godspeed Jc

Actually, an ohmmeter is hard to use in this application (unless you have an old analog one with a zero adjust), because usually the resistance is just barely high enough to make things flakey, and i
