- Taylor, The female spade should go to the distributor. (black wire connects to the "-" side of the coil The horseshoe-type connect is the water temp sender connection. Cheers, Tom

- Just to double check what you're saying here: there should be three wires connected to the coil. One B & one BW/R wire from the first pigtail and one B wire from the second little pigtail? Taylor Hut

- Hope I didn't confuse you. I was just pointing out the wire from the distributor (spade connection), ends up connecting to the "-" side of the coil. Easy to check is you have an ohm meter. Cheers, T
