The best is to connect it in paralell as close to the bat. as possible. This will eliminate as much disinformation as to alt & bat condition as possible. The easiest way as I said before is to get on

I was under the impression that the dash-type voltmeters that are only calibrated from about 10v to 15v were thermal instruments and therefore it did not matter which way round they were connected. B
