Looking for advice and opinions from those that have "been there, done that" , because I haven't. It is time to do an engine rebuild on my '71 TR6, this is apparent as the engine compression is below

Here is what I did to a '74 TR6 a few years back: Bored .030" Milled the Head about 1/8" (requires shortened pushrods for correct geometry) Kent "Fast Road" cam Monza Header and Exhaust Stock ZS car

you Indeed. The only way to make more power is to burn more fuel. The only way to burn more fuel is to move more air. There are several ways to do this. Bigger engine, faster engine, supercharging.
