Fred, you might want to investigate if the compressor itself is bad, or just the motor. If it's just the motor, then it can be replaced by itself a lot more economically than buying a whole new asse

Did the motor smoke or the pressure switch? Try WW Grainger or McMaster carr. A 1 phase 5 HP 230 V capacitor start motor is just under $400 from WW Grainger, McMaster carr is 310. They probably can b
