I am having a problem with my air doors that I haven't seen before. I drove my Bricklin to work today and when I arrived the driver's door didn't want to close. I pressed the switch several times and

Sounds to me that it would have to be a problem with the solenoid (the drivers up solenoid) on your air panel behind the seats. I guess that one way or another it got locked in the open position and

Had the same problem, took out the plungers of all four solenoids, cleaned and lubed them, adjusted the latches, problem went away. Of course, it was real exciting coming out of a building and seeing

It sounds like your door up solenoid is stuck open. This would allow the tank pressure to continually go to the door ram and door latch. You could also have a stuck/shorted switch. Marvin to locked

Hard to say, but if the harness is as poorly constructed as 1609, I would tear it all out and start again. Mine was a fire trap with bad crimps, splicing with cold solder joints in mid wire, etc. All
