I have use a Bosch 31077 off of a 78 Fiesta I believe for my 78 midget. The change required a little grinding on the adjuster and a slightly longer. I plan to upgrade the wiring soon. I do not know i

There was no "noticeable" improvement! But I knew that the original (35amp if I remember) was way over loaded and I know that the 55amp alt. from the Fiesta isn't! None of this was noticeable except

I have what I believe to be a saturn alternator on my Midget, however it is a delco unit. I have also put a delco/saturn alternator on a Landrover. My website has pictures of the mounting & wiring. A
