I got the Yellow Fever down to the muffle shop and they are putting the exhaust right. My question is that the idle was about 2000-2500 RPM. Is this because the engine was able to breath that much ea

If you are talking about the hydraulic switch that goes in the brale union, I don't see how srewing it in clould close the circuit. I would look for a short in your wiring elseware. You don't say if

Drive it to the muffler shop, take the scenic/twisty route, put the top down as well as putting the windows down. Put the pedal to the metal and shift as much as possible to keep the engine 'on song'
