First, make sure it is the mechanical part of the hand brake and not the hyraulics. To do this, roll the car by hand, and step on the brakes. Now see if it will still roll by hand with the same effor

Speaking of brakes, the 68 has been losing fluid slowly for some time now. I just kept it full, as there was no fluid visible on the backs of any of the wheels, or at any of the brake line junctions.
