Sure not appealing to me... I think the only other bonnet I'd consider for the Bugeye is the Walker bonnet. I've only seen a photo, but it looks like it maintains the character of the rest of the car

I found the Bugeye to be interesting, if a bit over-done. As some of you may recall, I, too, have a 215 V8 Bugeye which was a period modification. (Mine looks stock, though... no bumps and bulges.) S

I also have emailed him asking if he had any other provenance, ie magazine articles or photos of Carroll with this car. I have my doubts that Shelby had anything to do with this as ALL his creations
