My top is the same way. It is an old ribbons top (not canvas) with a few rips in it. If it is a nice sunny hot day (when I have the top down) it will go up just fine, but when it is cold, there is no

This is normal for all tops, even the standard vinyl(?). It will stretch if its warm enough but once it cools below maybe 60F, its hard to work with. My Toyota Landcruiser top is such a problem putti
