- maybe a silly ? but are the cards adjusted by the throttle screw or the slow run screw. someone needs to do a video and put it on the web

- If your carbs have the slow run screw use them to adjust idle and air intake as I recall. I use the throttle screws to adjust the amount of choke and just screw them out until just touching the lever

- The throttle screw should not be touching the throttle shaft lever at idle. You are supposed to use the slow idle screw (the big one on top) to adjust the idle speed. Alan '52 A90 '53 BN1 '64 BJ8

- just adj the carbs according the manuals its a bj8 its pretty smooth but the only ? is why is there so much air being sucked in i balenced them with a sync.is that normal for these carbs they were re

- Stick the air cleaners on and you won't hear it as much. As long as you've got them balanced and its smooth, and they're not pissin out the bottom of the car, go with it. Healey On, Mark
