I believe there is a spray dye you can use on carpet, but whether you want to get into that, I don't know. But it will be very hard to find used rear carpet since the wheel arch sections are glued on

That's the original carpet pattern. From 1977 on, if the car had the beige (or equivalent)interior, the floor and sill carpets were black and the rear carpets were beige. My 1980 MGB has the beige in
