Agree 100 % Lou. However I don't understand why Triumph didn't make the whole dash in wood. Would surely look nice me thinks. Touch of luxury. Especially with a wood rim steering wheel. Kind regards.

it appears that TR2/3 models have the centre instrument panel trimmed as the rest of the dash; TR3a/b uses crinkle paint. given my car TS 13796 is an early 3, it should have the former. Those of you

Never have understood why Triumph went to the minor gauge panel in black crinkle on the side screen cars. To me the center panel looks much neater in the same trim as the dash. My vote is to return
