I know this is a bit late in coming, but I had to find the info on this. If you are going to go through with the RX7 swap, I think, and therefore I am, you should consider using the RX7 rear end as

I assume you are talking about the first generation RX7 (1979 to 1985)... and that you know the 1984 and 1985 GSL SE have a 14" wheel and bigger brakes than the other first generation Mazdas. If that
