- Could be the flex hose rotted inside with flaps of rubber holding the pressure in the slave. The pedal should also have its own return spring. PaulH.

- Checked, found the plug, found the hole, no dipstick. Is my "all synchro" gearbox one that has the fill/level check plug in the side? If so, the level hasn't been checked in years. No clue. Gary 74 B
