Hello spridgets, as i pull away from a stop sign, slightly turning the wheel, CLANG! What's it mean? besides bad news? i feel a slight vibration at low speed (about 15 -> 20 mph) then it goes away...

Check the U joints, just get under and hand twist the d/shaft. You might also have loose bolts at the d/shaft to the diff. Check them too. Rock or lugnut in the hub cap? Don't laugh, that will drive

U joint, probably the rear one. On the level, go from 1st to R and back repeatedly with just a touch of clutch each time, you can make it go CLANG, with each reloading of the shot U jont. Glen

Hello Paul, jacked up the car, got under there... the bolts from the u joint to the rear diffy are good and tight. there is slight leakage around the two of the grease seals on the U joint. not much,
