If there's too much air in the line the clutch won't disengage, so that's not likely your problem. If you haven't changed the slave cylinder or clutch you shouldn't need to adjust the slave cylinder.

Another alternative is to use a clutch master from a 510 or Z but you will have to use an adapter or use a metric fitting on the master. You can also have the master resleeved in Brass or Stainless a
