I had the OD trans go out (layshaft) while at NAMGAR GT in Mackinaw City. All rebuilt and back in car now, but clutch pedal pressure is much lighter than previous. I never opened the hydraulic system

Hey, don't complain <g>. I've heard this a lot, that a new clutch seemed much "lighter" than the old one. I wonder if just cleaning/lubing the pivot as part of the operation might make a big differen

Likewise: if it works as it should then don't complain. My V8 clutch got very heavy after replacing all the hydraulics but then lightened after a short while. Don't worry. maybe yours will 'heavy' in
