Just got a new Moss coil. The polarity is not marked as my old one is marked. how do I tell positive from negative? It's a repro of the Lucas original just advertised in the new catalogue. steve 52 T

CB stands for contact breaker SW for switch. On a positive ground car the CB goes to the distributor, on a negative ground car it goes to the switch side. To test the polarity of the coil, remove a s
