Aren't the dyes visible only under blacklight? Rex Burkheimer Nope..... this is a bright red visible dye... another thing Cat recommends using it for it to color code oils to prevent mixups... so it'

ATF is definitely dyed that red color. Whether it's the same dye that Cat sells to add to motor oil, I couldn't say, but it seems likely. The requirements would be pretty similar. Randall /// /// sh
