I installed a cruise control on my MK IA Tiger about 5 years ago. I got the idea from Tom Ehrhardt, Ed Esslinger and John Logan who had them years before that. I used an aftermarket system by Audiovo

BTW, the method I use is the throttle cable on the dash too. Also, I like wearing aqua socks when I'm driving long distances; you know, the kind they sell at beach wear shops. Good for autocrossing
