You might look at all your electrical connections that could be moving when you brake hard. maybe something is moving and breaking contact and moves back when you slow. Just an idea. bill r 74 midget

turn that puppy around! The fuel inlet should be towards the front of the engine. That puts the throttle linkage straight, but yes it's a pain because only one of the fuel entry tubes are actually dr

Yes, when the carb was fitted to the Pinto and Bobcat the float bowl was at the front of the engine. In fact if you can fit a 350 or 500 cfm 2 barrel Holley using an adaptor plate on the Ford, surely
