Why don't you just dimple the firewall and install a later Spitfire dual m/c??? I'm using a '69 GT6 dual circuit brake system on my '65 Herald...bolts right in except for the "dimple" Regards, Chad

hi, one reason is that i have four herald single master cylinders in the shed (inc. one on the car). the other is that duals aren't quite as independant and hence less failsafe. thanks for the idea
