My concern would be that it is missing six mounting bolts. If it's like mine ('71 MkIV), that's all of the bolts to attach it. Just a thought. Andy H.

Almost all the hardtops I know of are sitting somewhere other then on a Spitfire. Mine included. They also make the car even more claustrophobic than they are with the top up. So I question the wisdo

Thx to all who responded to my inquiry about Spit hardtops. Cost assessment: $300 seems to be the top end price for a very good (has all the parts) condition hardtop $100/150 seems to be the low end

My factory hard top sealed across the top of the windscreen frame with the same type of gasket setup as the soft top. Though with the bolts mounting the hard top you could get more gasket crush . The
