Hmmm. The '70 has it the radio down below as well, but no vents in the dash. My vent is a flip open door behind the radio.

Info courtesy of my '72 GT. Each vent is 2.1/8" high x 3.11/32" wide (measurements of single vent body, 1/8" wide flange all round stops the vents falling thru the hole) x 4.1/8" deep, from the dash
