Hello All, I want to install an elec fuel pump and pressure reg on my car. I am going to be getting Aeromotive units. THe install instructions are not on the web site. Can someone give me any general

Don't forget the cutoff switch - either an inertial unit, or one tied to the oil pressure line (Holley has a good one that runs the pump while cranking). Someone should write an FAQ on this topic :-

Hi Dan, if the pump is not self priming you will need to mount it low to allow the fuel to gravity feed to the pump. If it is self priming, I suggest mounting it adjacent the fuel outlet on the tank

Here's how I go about adding a safety oil pressure switch so the pump only runs when the ignition is on and the oil pressure is up. Use an oil pressure switch from a Chev Vega. You will also need an

I used an inertia switch from a Ford Tempo. Easy to find at a wrecking yard, wire in series with the fuel pump, mount with two small holes in an upright position. Cost me all of $10 from pick-n-pull.
