My '76 fed. model spit has an electric fan w/thermostat installed in front of the radiator (pushing) and the stock mechanical fan has been removed. I never thought twice about that setup as I've had

My electric cooling fan began blowing fuses. I took it apart and found that each section of the comutator is short circuited together. I believe this shouldn't be like this. Does anybody have any ide

In the R/C racing world when this happens you simply take an exacto knife and run it through the slots between commutator sections. You should be able to scrap it all out. Be sure to clean the commut
