- David, after hunting down three shorts I have quite a nack for the wirings of my MGB. If your horn and turn signals don't work I would look that the wire bundle up front that connects the turn signal

- Ignition warning light glowing - particularly if the brightness increases as you increase the electrical load - is a classic symptom of alternator diode problems. There are nine diodes in the 'stack'
