Think outside the box Phil. I would make the gas turbine run at a constant optimal RPM, and develope a CVT transmission to control acceleration. If I were so inclined. Which I'm not. No way. legal? P

I was thinking the turbine Indy car in the 1960s controlled its level of acceleration (mostly) with its brakes. Rather durable brakes, at that. Or am I thinking of a different turbine-engined car? Ke
