Where the Will, On my 63 +4 it is on the top of the frame rail that runs from the bell housing tunnel under your legs to the right side door. It is more toward the center of the car than the outside.

Will, I've heard that also. However, I can tell you for sure that there is NO vin plate or chassis number on the chassis of my 65 4/4. That must be a +4 thing. There was/is a VIN plate located on the

My cross-member chassis number was illegible. I was able to find the body number on the rear right side wheel. A FAX to the factory got me the chassis number quite promptly. The body number is stampe
