- I don't know where the recommended attachment point is, but I just pulled and re-installed the engine in my '72 B. I screwed a bolt into one of the threaded holes on the passenger side of the engine

- Paul, I've done this oodles, twice in one day in fact (don't ask!) and have always used the valve cover studs. I use a short length of heavy chain bolted to the two studs and lift in the middle. YMMV
