Amici I was looking for a informed view on what size and number of exhaust pipes to run on a c/p tr6 i was planning duals but was told that a single 21/2 inch is better i thought the factory went to

As I remember the larger pipes were only harder to fit but didn't give any performance benifit. The 2" should be good on the TR-4 or you moight try 2/1/4" if you can fit it easy. NOT FALLING OFF IS A

Two anecdotal experiences, from which you can draw your own conclusions: 1. I ran my engine on an engine dyno for a day. We did several runs with different length pipes but all with 2-1/2" diameter.
