Does anyone know if the fenders to a 1976 MGB will fit to a 1970. I know the grills are different but are the fenders? Thanks in advance... Matt Grygar 1970 MBG with two black eyes

The 1970 MGB has the split rear bumpers. The fronts should be the same though. 1970 was the only year that the B had the split rear bumper. :) Hope this helps. Blake Wylie 1970 MGB

though. I thought the later fenders had a different well around the front shocks. Supposedly the use of later fenders on earlier cars requires some banging around the shock area to allow for a good f

That may be the case for the front fenders. Just don't put another model rear fender on a 70 model car. :) Blake

Let's see. The original question was whether the fenders will fit both a 1970 MGB and a 1976 MGB. If you are referring to the front fenders, the answer is no. The rubber bumper fenders from 74 1/2, a

It can bolt on BUT the turn signal area is very different because the turn signal is in the bumper on the '76 and in the fender on the 73. I suppose you could make it work (believe me I would). It sh
