someone cut large ragged holes in my bugeye firewall to put battery cables through. The holes were cut right where the two "bump outs" occur. Is there any reason not to just cut out the bump outs all

Most of the firewall holes are due to battery corrosion from the posts being too close to the fire wall. The cure is to use a battery with the post on the other side away from the wall. Of course thi

the two bumps were there to space the battery out from the firewall to try to keep the terminals from shorting out on the firewall. it was not some asthetic thing at all. i have repaired evry one i h
