I was able to take the shocks off the front end when the body was off the frame with no engine in it. I just used an air ratchet and it came right off. Then I proceded to jack the A-frame up and uns

I have my 1600 up on jack stands and after removing the front rims, I had no problems taking the shocks out without compressing the coils. I'm running KYB GR2s and they slid right out the lower hole

Paul......Neat info on painting...I'm starting that in a couple of weeks. As far as springs go, I put my floor jack under the lower A-arm undid the bolts and slowly lowered the jack. No problem. Like

I don't think so Paul, I think you should be able to change shocks without removing any other parts. Just the top nuts and the lower plate (three bolts) then the shock should slide right out.(but the
