I need some advice on front springs. I will need to lower my Spit so the 185x60x13 Nankangs don't look so little. Moss has some for 39.95. They are 6.87" free length and rated at 330 lbs. Victoria Br

Well, I'm a cut your existing spring kind of guy. That costs you nothing and can be done with a hack saw. Just take a coil out and see if it's where you want it height wise. Currently I'm running GT6

I had the VB springs on my MK2 spit. They seemed to work just fine although I never did any autox. Of course the Konis were probably a bigger help. Cheers Mark -- I need some advice on front springs.

FWIW, the 13-coil spring (if it has the same wire characteristics as the 10-coil sprint) will be softer. Springs in series add like resistors in parallel. Assume 150 lbs/inch for the 10-coil spring;
